Ketond Advanced Ketone Blend is a weight loss and energy supplement designed to be used in conjunction with the low-carb ketogenic diet. It’s a drink mix that contains exogenous ketones, which are very useful on keto.

It’s available in six different flavors:

  • Caramel macchiato
  • Chocolate
  • Citrus mango
  • Mango, tigers’ blood, and peach
  • Peach
  • Tiger’s blood

Ketond Advanced Ketone Blend can help you get into ketosis faster, and reduce the duration and severity of keto flu, making this popular product very useful on the ketogenic diet. However, it won’t do much if you aren’t currently on keto.

What are the ingredients?

The main active ingredient in Ketond is beta-hydroxybutyrate or BHB for short. BHB is a source of exogenous or external ketones. Despite being from an external source, your body recognizes BHB ketones as natural, and it can use them for a range of beneficial functions, enhancing many aspects of the ketogenic diet.

Ketond Advanced Ketone Blend contains three different forms of exogenous ketones:

  • Sodium beta-hydroxybutyrate
  • Magnesium beta-hydroxybutyrate
  • Calcium beta-hydroxybutyrate

Each one is digested at a slightly different rate, which means this product has short, medium, and long-term effects.

In addition to these main ingredients, Ketond Advanced Ketone Blend also contains natural and artificial sweeteners, flavors, and colors. However, it’s only the BHB ketones that have any meaningful benefits.

Benefits of Ketond Advanced

With its high exogenous ketone payload, Ketond offers a lot of benefits to keto dieters, including:

A faster descent into ketosis – cutting carbs from your diet is only the start of the ketogenic diet. Your body contains a lot of stored carbohydrates, and, until it’s used up, you will not enter ketosis. Taking Ketond artificially increases your ketone levels, fooling your body into thinking it’s in ketosis sooner. The faster you enter ketosis, the sooner you can start enjoying the benefits of this popular diet.

Shorter, less severe keto flu – keto flu is the term used to describe the symptoms that a lot of dieters experience during the first 1-2 weeks of the ketogenic diet. These symptoms include headaches, insomnia, hunger, muscle cramps, brain fog, and digestive upset. They are the result of eating next to no carbohydrates but not yet entering full ketosis.

The exogenous ketones in Ketond Advanced Ketone Blend artificially boost your ketone levels, providing your body with more of what it needs to function properly. The result? Less severe and shorter duration keto flu. As keto flu can be uncomfortable enough to put some dieters off low carb for good, this is a very valuable benefit.

Increased fat burning – when carbs are in short supply, your body makes ketones out of fat for energy. Taking exogenous ketones tricks your body into converting more fat into ketones, and that will lead to faster fat burning and greater weight loss. Keto is already one of the best fat burning diets around, and taking exogenous ketones, like those in Ketond Advanced Ketone Blend, make it even more so.

More energy – when you don’t eat carbs, your body uses fat for fuel. However, fat is a slow-acting source of energy, and that means it’s not ideal for muscles or your brain. Because of this, your body turns fat into ketones, which are an energy source that’s much faster acting.

The exogenous BHB ketones in Ketond Advanced Ketone Blend are a readily available source of energy, and using this supplement will give you an instant, stim-free boost. This product is as good for energy as it is weight loss, despite being free from calories and carbs.

Increased brain function – ketones are not just a good source of energy for your muscles; they’re good for your brain too. Ketones can cross the blood-brain barrier, and your brain functions incredibly well on ketones. Taking Ketond Advanced Ketone Blend will provide you with a stim-free mental boost, improving all aspects of cognition, including decision making, accuracy, memory, problem-solving, and concentration.

Less hunger – the exogenous ketones in Ketond Advanced Ketone Blend are proven hunger suppressants. Hunger can chip away at your willpower, making even the ketogenic diet harder to stick to. Using this very low-calorie supplement can help keep hunger at bay, leaving you free from cravings.

How to Use it Correctly

Ketond is very easy to use. Just add one scoop (supplied) to 12-16 fluid ounces of water and drink it down. This product can also be mixed with any carb-free beverage, including almond milk and coconut water.  You can use Ketond at any time, but it’s especially useful:

  • First thing in the morning with or instead of breakfast to kick-start ketone production and ward-off mid-morning hunger
  • 30 minutes before exercise for a fast-acting source of energy
  • Any time you’re feeling the side effects of the ketogenic diet
  • Before bed to avoid nighttime hunger and cravings

Side Effects

Ketond is made from ingredients that are generally regarded as safe (GRAS), which means side effects are rare. However, some people may experience some anyway, including stomach upsets, headaches, and nausea. These effects are directly attributable to the BHB ketones.

After a few days of use, you should find that any unwanted side effects disappear all on their own. However, they can be avoided by initially taking a half-sized serving and increasing gradually after a few days.

Drinking plenty of water, following a strict ketogenic diet, and not using more than the recommended amount will also help prevent unwanted side effects.

Bottom Line

If you are on keto, and either want to get more from your diet or avoid any possible side effects, Ketond can help. By artificially boosting your body’s supply of ketones, fat burning will increase, and so too will your energy levels. The symptoms of keto flu will vanish quickly too.

By providing nearly 12 grams of exogenous ketones per serving, Ketond Advanced is a potent supplement that should have an all-but instant effect on your energy levels. Despite only containing 27 calories per serving, and without caffeine, this product will help you power through even the toughest workout or day at work.

On the downside, like all exogenous ketone drink mixes, Ketond Advanced has a strong taste that is only partially masked by the added flavorings. Ketones are salts and, like every other similar product, that salty taste is never too far away. That said, this IS one of the best tasting exogenous ketone supplements currently available.

If you want to get the most from your ketogenic diet, Ketond Advanced Ketone Blend can help.

With all that being said the reviews show that a lot of people are not completely satisfied with this product. As such we recommend the more popular and arguably better product Perfect Keto.

If you are looking for that boost to getting to ketosis faster and smoother we highly recommend checking out our review of Perfect Keto.
