Ingredients For Eight Servings
- 1-pound ground beef
- 3 ounces cream cheese
- ½ cup beef broth
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cans green beans, drained
- ¾ cup cheddar cheese
- ¾ cup mozzarella cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit/180 degrees centigrade.
- In a cast-iron skillet, brown the beef and drain off any excess liquid.
- Add the cream cheese, beef broth, cream, garlic powder, onion, and salt and pepper. Stir and cook until the mixture starts to thicken. Turn the heat down and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the green beans, and then sprinkle with the grated cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
Note: Use a cast-iron skillet and not a frying pan with a plastic handle, which will melt or even catch fire in your oven.
