Ingredients for Four Servings
Keto Bread
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 2 tablespoons almond flour
- 2 tablespoons coconut flour
- 1½ teaspoons baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
French Toast Batter
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoon heavy whipping cream
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Grease a glass dish with butter.
- Combine all the dry keto bread ingredients in the bowl.
- Add an egg and stir in the cream. Whisk to make your bread dough.
- Microwave on high for two minutes or until the bread is firm in the middle. Cook for another 15-30 seconds if necessary. Allow to cool and then cut into two slices.
- In a second bowl, whisk the eggs, cream, and cinnamon with the salt.
- Pour this mixture over the bread slices, turning them over so they absorb as much of the mixture as possible.
- Heat the remaining butter in a frying pan and cook the French toast until browned on both sides.
