Keto Boost is a weight loss and dietary supplement designed to be used on the low-carb ketogenic diet. Made by OVIE, this product comes in a 60-capsule bottle, which is a 30-day supply. It contains exogenous ketones, which are ketones from an external source.

Exogenous ketones are thought to be very helpful on the keto diet. In fact, if you aren’t doing keto, they won’t have much of an effect. The exogenous ketones in this product are designed to make any variation of the ketogenic diet more comfortable and productive.

If you are new to keto or are finding low carb dieting hard to live with, the exogenous ketones in Keto Boost can help.

Keto Boost contains very few ingredients, but don’t let that put you off! Unlike a lot of fat burners that are loaded with everything from appetite suppressants to carb blockers to metabolism boosters, Keto Boost only has one active ingredient, Beta-Hydroxybutyrate ketones.

Beta-Hydroxybutyrate ketones, or BHB for short, are chemically similar to the ketones your body produces in response to a low carb diet. Because of this, your body uses them in the same way it uses the ketones it makes itself.

Keto Boost contains three types of BHB ketones:

  • Calcium Beta-Hydroxybutyrate
  • Magnesium Beta-Hydroxybutyrate
  • Sodium Beta-Hydroxybutyrate

Why three different types of ketones? Each one works at a different speed. This means that Keto Boost has immediate, medium, and long-term effects, instead of working all at once and then leaving you high and dry. Because of this, you only need to take two capsules every 24 hours, instead of one capsule several times per day.

In addition to BHB ketones, Keto Boost contains a couple of additional albeit inert ingredients, including gelatin, rice flour, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide.

Gelatin is the material used to make the capsules. It’s an animal product which means this product is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.

Rice flour, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide are moisture absorbers and anti-caking agents that prevent the BHB ketones from forming a solid, indigestible mass.

Other than those listed, Keto Boost does not contain any additional ingredients. It’s a very pure, clean supplement.

Keto Boost Benefits

The exogenous Beta-Hydroxybutyrate ketones in Keto Boost mean this product offers several valuable benefits to keto dieters. Those benefits include:

Reduced keto flu – cutting your carb intake to 50 grams or less per day, as you must on keto, can come as a shock to your body. It responds by switching to using fat and ketones for energy. Making that transition takes time, anywhere from a few days to two weeks. During this period, a lot of keto dieters suffer from the keto flu, the symptoms of which include:

  • Headaches
  • Nausea
  • Constipation
  • Diarrhea
  • Brain fog
  • Insomnia
  • Hunger
  • Cravings
  • Mood fluctuations
  • Fatigue

Taking exogenous ketones can help alleviate these symptoms, making the first few weeks of keto a whole lot more comfortable.

Increased fat burning – your body makes ketones from fat. Taking Keto Boost tricks your body into producing more ketones, which means increased fat burning. Needless to say, the more fat you burn, the faster you will lose weight.

More energy – your body usually uses carbs for energy but, on keto, you have to rely on ketones instead. Taking exogenous ketones means you’ll have more energy, both physically and mentally. Your muscles and your brain function really well on ketones, and you should soon feel that your energy levels are higher and more stable when you are in ketosis.

Less hunger and fewer cravings – on a regular diet, your blood glucose levels constantly rise and fall, which is one of the causes of hunger and cravings. On keto, your blood glucose remains low and stable, and you have an abundant source of energy in the form of ketones. Using exogenous ketones means you should experience much less hunger and fewer cravings, which will make sticking to your diet a whole lot easier.

A faster descent into ketosis – your body contains a lot of glucose. It’s stored in your muscles and liver. Your body won’t start producing ketones in abundance until these glucose stores are depleted. That is unless you use exogenous ketones.

Taking a couple of capsules of Keto Boost per day will artificially raise your ketone levels, which will, in turn, help you get into ketosis faster. The faster you enter ketosis, the sooner you’ll be able to enjoy all the benefits of the low-carb diet, and that includes faster fat burning, unlimited energy, and rapid weight loss.

How to use it correctly

To get the most from Keto Boost, you should use it in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. According to OVIE, you should take two capsules per day with water. That’s it – simple!

You can take your dose:

  • First thing in the morning to boost ketosis
  • Before exercise for energy
  • Mid-morning or mid-afternoon to ward off hunger
  • Before going to bed to prevent nighttime cravings

Because Keto Boost is free from stimulants like caffeine, you can take it right before bedtime, and it won’t stop you from sleeping.

Side effects

Exogenous ketones are entirely natural and are almost identical to the ketones your body produces during periods of low-carb dieting and starvation. That means they are safe and cause very few side effects. However, some users may find that, initially, symptoms of keto flu are actually a little worse than usual. Don’t worry – this is entirely normal, and you should find that those side effects vanish after a few days.

If you do experience any unwanted side effects, reduce your dose to just one capsule per day, or try taking one capsule in the morning and one in the evening. Also, do not exceed the recommended daily dose of two capsules per day.

Bottom Line

Exogenous ketone supplements don’t get much easier to use than Keto Boost. This pure ketone supplement is designed to make keto dieting easier and more effective. Taking two small capsules per day will make getting into and staying in ketosis much easier and can also help reduce the symptoms of keto flu. Because it’s made from all-natural ingredients, side effects are rare, and any that do occur should be very short-lived.

Keto Boost contains no harsh chemicals or stimulants like caffeine, which means you can take it any time of day you like. It won’t keep you awake at night. However, despite being such a simple formula, Keto Boost provides a lot of keto diet benefits – from increasing your energy to preventing hunger and cravings.

Whether you are a new low-carb dieter, or an experienced dieter looking for a helping hand, Keto Boost is designed to help.

With all that being said the reviews show that a lot of people are not completely satisfied with this product. As such we recommend the more popular and arguably better product Perfect Keto.

If you are looking for that boost to getting to ketosis faster and smoother we highly recommend checking out our review of Perfect Keto.
